PTA 100 Club

The PTA are hoping to start a ‘100 Club’ in January. This can be purchased through ParentPay and further details will be available soon.

Open Classrooms 30th November

Open classrooms takes place on Wednesday 30th November. This will be the opportunity for you to look at your child’s classroom and learning, and they can tell you about all the things that they have done since the start of the year.

Pantomime Visit Wednesday 7th December - change of lunch.

As the children leave early to get to the pantomime our cook will be making a picnic style lunch for all children on school dinners. Reception children will still get the hot lunch choices are they aren't going on the trip. Thank you.

Christmas Concert - 8th December.

Our Christmas Concert is taking place in our School Hall on Thursday the 8th of December at 5 pm for approximately an hour.

Tickets are £3 for adults and free for children. Refreshments will be available. Please join us to celebrate the joy of the Festive Season!

Please note that tickets will not be available on the door-they must be purchased in advance on ParentPay.

Free Singing Sessions

Calling all singers!

Selby Music Centre is delighted to have appointed Rachel MacKenzie as our

new choir leader. Rachel has experience of leading children’s choirs in a couple

of York primary schools, in addition to directing adult choirs, including at Aviva

in York! We would like to invite your child to take part in some free singing sessions on

Saturdays from November 19th until 10 th December. There will be a short

informal performance on the morning of December 10th at 11am, along with

our music centre folk, strings and guitar ensembles.

Sessions take place at Selby High School from 11.05 – 12.15. Please come a few minutes earlier to buy a treat from our tuck shop (choose a free treat on your first visit!), if you would like to. The choir will continue in the spring term starting on January 7 th . We will also be offering free taster sessions for newcomers to all ensembles from January 7th .
