March 24, 2015 - BEST District of the EVSC
Socrative: A Check for Understanding
The new Socrative (pronounced So-crat-ive) site is extremely easy to use and takes minimal effort by the teacher to set up. Additionally to use with students, it is as simple as creating a virtual classroom, type up a few questions, and then have the students complete the questions. The whole process takes just a few minutes - so try it!
2. Create Quz
After logging into your account, click on Manage Quizzes, then Create Quiz. From there choose from three question types - multiple choice, true/false, or short answer. Create as many or as few questions as you would like.
3. Student View
4. Quiz Completion
Once the quiz is complete, the teacher has several different choices to pick from. Those choices include:
- Exporting as a file or to your Google Drive
- Email the results of the quiz
- Charting the results
