Wrestlers Finished 5th at STATE Duals
The Heritage HS Wrestling Team traveled to The Lovett School in Atlanta for the GA AAAA Dual Team Wrestling State Championship. The Generals who were seeded 5th, went 1-2 and finished in 5th Place. The Generals wrestled N. Oconee 1st round and lost 23-49. In the consolation quarters, the Generals wrestled tough and beat SE Whitfield 51-30. Then, in the consolation semifinals the Generals had a barn burner match with Chestatee but lost 31-48. The Generals wrestled tough at State and finished as one of the Top 5 teams in AAAA. The Generals improved their season record to 25-8.

Ten HHS Students Named All-State in Chorus
Avery Frost and Parker Hayen had a perfect score of 100 on their audition. These students will attend the GMEA All-State Clinic and perform a concert in Athens in February, 2023.
