Attention junior: Are you interested in taking yearbook as a course next year? If yes, please stop by Mrs. Eben’s room in A104 to learn about the requirements and sign up.
A reminder from Mr. Jones: As we return of face to face instruction it will be more important than ever to follow the MDE and MDH guidelines for student’s safe return to schools. This includes:
- wearing of masks correctly over the mouth and nose
- hand washing/sanitizing upon entering and exiting classrooms
- following the directional signs in the halls and locker banks.
If you can’t remember if you ordered a yearbook, a list of students who have ordered is posted on the yearbook wall outside the cafeteria. Also, please take this opportunity to check out the picture pages as well and let us know if your name is not spelled correctly. Yearbooks can still be purchased at www.marshallyearbook.com or by dropping off an order form and check to the office.
Seniors, if you want your senior picture included in the yearbook, senior poster, and Marshall Independent Look book, they must be submitted to Mrs. Eben by April 1st.
Seniors: Applications for MHS/Pride in the Tiger Scholarship are now being accepted. These scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Banquet on May 19..
- The MHS Faculty will be selecting the recipients for the scholarships.
- The deadline to apply is Monday, March 8, at 3:30 PM.
- Please be thoughtful and detailed in your responses.
- Use appropriate punctuation and capitalization.
- If you have questions, stop into Student Services and see your counselor.
Any student in grades 9-11 who did not get a registration sheet for next year should pick one up in Student Services as soon as possible. If you don't turn in a form, your courses will be chosen for you!
Students in current grades 10 and 11 who plan on taking off campus PSEO courses next year must attend a PSEO informational meeting via teams on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd from 7:45-8:10 AM or on Thursday Feb. 25th from 3:30-3:55 PM.
- In order to qualify for this program, 10th graders must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Students in grade 11 must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- Please email Mrs. Greenfield at shirley.greenfield@marshall.k12.mn.us with the date you would like to attend. She will send you a meeting notice via your school email. If Tuesday is an “in person” day at school for you, plan to attend the meeting sitting with your computer in the cafeteria so that you won’t be late for class when the meeting ends. Bring air pods or headphones and follow social distancing guidelines.
- Please be advised that there this a deadline for letting your school know that you plan to take off campus PSEO courses (May 31, 2021), and colleges have deadlines for registering for courses as well. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Greenfield
