The Speed Limit at MV is 10 MPH
The Board is seriously considering installing additional speed bumps within Moanalua Village. This is in response to homeowners requests due to excessive speeding within the village and to ensure safety to all residents and their guests. Please observe the speed limit of 10MPH.
Having Work Done on Your Unit? Moving or Expecting a Delivery?
Please remember to give the office 24 hour notice if you are expecting contractors, movers, or delivery trucks at your unit. Contractors are required to read and sign an agreement form for work more than one day. Drivers of large delivery trucks always need to be reminded to use the "Truck Exit" button and exit through the larger entrance gate. Contractors must sign in and sign out each day at the office.
Aren't Pets Great?
Do Not Flush Baby Wipes Down the Toliet
"Flushable" wipes are not flushable, and are being blamed for creating clogs and backups in the Moanalua Village sewer system. Authorities say wipes should NOT go down the toilet. Even wipes that are labeled "flushable" aren't breaking down as they course through the sewer system. This problem may affect MV maintenance fees due to the cost to unclog pipes. Therefore, all Residents should be aware that individual residents will be assessed the plumbing costs in the future if clogs appear in their designated drain.
Having a Party?
The Moanalua Village Lounge with kitchen facilities is available to residents for private gatherings, parties, and meetings. A $25 user fee is charged and a $100 refundable security deposit is collected to insure that the room is left clean and undamaged. Users must agree to abide by the house rules. Payment can be made by check or money order 24 hours before the reservation date. Keys will be delivered after payment is made.
Attention Pool and Spa Users
Please remember to shower before using the pool and spa and to use only waterproof sun care products. Lotions, conditioners, gels, and other cosmetic products can cause serious damage to the pumps and filters which result in costly plumbing expenses. Your cooperation and assistance is appreciated.
