BOONE SCHOOL FAMILY NEWSLETTER
MAY 2019
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Families and Friends of Boone School,
As we wind down the year, students will begin taking their final NWEA MAP assessments beginning on May 14th. A detailed calendar with exam days and times for all grades K-8 will be sent home with the students very soon. We ask all students to make sure that you attend class every day and are prepared to do your best work during the exams. Remember to have a good breakfast on the day of the exams and to sleep enough hours the night before to help you do your best!
I also wanted to make sure you all know that May 6-10th is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! Be sure to show your teachers and all Boone staff how much you appreciate everything they do. Some ideas to celebrate: make a card, sing a song, write a poem, help with extra tasks in the class. What other ideas do you have?
Sincerely,
Jackie Delaney, Principal
