The Nile River was important because it was like a highway. There were 3 types of boats. One type of boat was a boat for humans. Other was a boat for animals. And there was one more boat that was just simple.
The Nile River was the longest river in the world. It was about 4000 miles long. That river flows from the south to the north.

People's homes were made of mud bricks and mortar. Some people hunted hippos for people eating meat. Some people did fishing. The Nile helped people with drinking water, bathing,cooking, etc.
