Daylight Savings Lights
Check those clocks everyone!
Are you going to BINGO Friday night?
Next Friday, March 18th, our PTO will be sponsoring a fun-filled evening with the calling of random numbers and letters to fill cards, diagonally, horizontally, vertically, 4 corners, the whole card, OH MY! The whole family can relax and enjoy themselves! C'mon in to the Primary School to feel the energy! Thank you!
The Tower Garden
Mrs. Brown's room has an aeroponic tower garden that will be growing 20 different edible plants-lettuce, spinach, herbs. We will have on-going monitoring of the plant growth and harvesting as the year goes along. Mr. and Mrs. Kuptz have been very helpful in kicking this off.
Filling the tank that will water the plants.
Mr. Kuptz testing the water's pH level.
Our grow lights will help our plants.
The Assembly Was Terrific
Our Wednesday event was filled with good ideas and plenty of celebration for our JRFH efforts.
Our school raised about $28,000 for the American Heart Association via the JRFH event last month. WOW! AMAZING! Many thanks for your support to our young and energetic jumpers. Wendy Monson and Sarah Luberda did their marvelous job as usual to make the event the best. More shout outs to our volunteers too. Jacob Roadt, Lous Monson, and Kayley Littaritz were our top three fundraisers at the Primary School.
More on the Assembly-Box Tops and Sportsmanship
Out BOXTOP collection continues to bring in terrific numbers. Mrs. Lewandowski and Mrs. Krogmann's classes brought in over 2700 between their two rooms. The Ward family donated over 1300 box tops. WOW! The trophy went to Mrs. Lew's class for the most brought in this month. The Sportsmanship focus was about how the playground changes with more games, more teams, and different activities to play. A little Math riddle and a tip
What had 3 feet but no legs or arms? Give up? A yard. What if you feel a little uncomfortable with the math that comes home? How do you talk to the kids? Let them teach you, think about asking them to show you how they solved the problem, use what you already know about the concepts to ask questions of them. They'll be proud to teach you.
A 4K quilt
Besides being so darn cute, Mrs. Baral's 4K students worked together during Kindness Week to make a quilt. It is on the bulletin board outside of their classroom. They are very proud of their work!

The focus of the assembly was about sportsmanship. Please check out the links to the youtube videos in the article above to see what we watched and learned about good sports.
