Next eLearning Day
Our next eLearning day is just around the corner on Monday, February 13, 2023.
High Ability Testing
Noblesville Schools relies on NWEA scores to identify students who achieve at exceptional levels for High Ability (FOCUS) instruction. To identify students with the potential for high achievement that is not reflected in NWEA scores, all students in kindergarten and second grade who are not already identified as High Ability in both math and English language arts will take an online screener called the Cognitive Abilities Test, or CogAT. Students who meet the benchmark on the screener will later take the remaining portions of the CogAT. All fifth graders who are not already identified as High Ability in both math and English language arts and who meet the benchmark will take the full CogAT without first taking the screener.
If you have questions about high ability testing and instruction, go to www.noblesvilleschools.org and click on Academics and then on High Ability. Questions may also be directed to Mr. Lawrence.

Outside Activities and Opportunties
Noblesville Schools Education Foundation
Noblesville Schools Education Foundation has established a mental health fund, with support from generous donors and grants, to assist staff and students with access to mental health services. This fund can be used in the following ways:
1. To directly pay an agency for mental health services by attaching an invoice/bill from that agency
OR
2. To reimburse a staff member or a student's guardian for mental health services provided on or after October 1, 2022 by attaching the receipt of paid invoice/bill
Parents/guardians can apply for financial assistance on behalf of their student for mental health services by submitting this confidential form.
Panorama Student Survey
Noblesville Schools is committed to providing a great school experience for all students. To help achieve this, we use a platform called Panorama to survey students in grades 3-5 during the dates of February 27 - March 10, 2023. The Panorama survey seeks to gather input on topics like school climate and culture, emotion regulation, self-management, social awareness and belonging. When students feel connected to their school environment, they are more engaged and increasingly successful in both academic and social achievements. More information on the survey can be found here.
Although the survey is not mandatory, student perceptions will provide valuable insights for future planning, support and programming. Results will be used to determine needs based on trends for our school.
If you wish for your student to opt-out, you can submit an opt-out form. The survey is voluntary and students are welcome to choose an alternate activity (read, homework, etc.) at the time the survey is given.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact our district Counseling Coordinator, Melissa Rarick at (317) 773- 3171 or melissa_rarick@nobl.k12.in.us
Thank you for your support of this important opportunity to best serve students and our school community.
