Why He's a Leader
As a child, Jeff Bezos showed an early interest in how things work, turning his parents' garage into a laboratory and rigging electrical contraptions around his house. Bezos pursued his interest in computers at Princeton University, where he graduated in 1986 with a degree in computer science and electrical engineering. One element of leadership Jeff Bezos has is confidence, he sure does have it in whatever he does, like starting a company in his garage, or creating a phone and set of tablets competing with Apple, the worlds to seller in tablets. One quality Jeff has learned is honesty, he is open to admit when the company has had a big flop, like admitting The Amazon Fire Phone should have been tweaked and enhanced more before its release back in June. Jeff's 29.7 billion dollar company has influenced many retailers like, target, Walmart, and toys r us, to start offering online shipping and discounts, though it's not great for his business it has influenced the shipping and online purchasing industry. I think Jeff's best trait is perseverance, no matter what Jeff continues to create a more successful business. I think a good leader must have 3 core traits, be a good communicator, be organized, and have a good education, Jeff Bezos, from what I have read, has all of these. This is why Jeff Bezos is a great leader.
