Principal Post
Enjoy winter break between December 23rd and January 5th! The best to you and your family as you celebrate the holidays! Winter break is a special time to spend with family and friends, time to relax, time away from the normal routine, and time to reflect and be thankful for all that we have! Safe travels to those families traveling during winter break. Here's to a prosperous and healthy new year and new decade!! We look forward to seeing all the students back at school on January 6th, 2020!
Thanks to ALL who donated to DuJardin's "Giving Twee." Donated hats, gloves, and scarves will make many others warm and happy this winter season.
The "Toys for Tots" drive was successful again this year. DuJardin has so many generous and giving families. Special thanks goes out to our students, staff, and families for bringing joy to others during this holiday season. That's what it's all about - Tis the season for giving and for being grateful!
A reminder that ALL clothing and other items from the "Lost and Found" will be donated after December 20th. If your child is missing something you may want to check the "Lost and Found" located in the front lobby of the school one more time.
PLEASE MARK YOUR NEW YEAR CALENDAR - The January Early Dismissal School Improvement Day scheduled for January 15th has been canceled. There will be no early dismissal on January 15th and regular school hours will be held between 8:40 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
2019-2020 Illinois Parent Survey
Dear Parent, The Illinois State Board of Education invites you to participate in a school improvement survey for parents. In this survey, you will be asked to provide feedback about DuJardin School. Please consider your child’s current experience at school (i.e., 2019-2020 school year). This survey is designed to help school and district leadership improve their understanding of the parent/school relationship.
All responses are completely anonymous. Responses to anonymous surveys cannot be traced back to the respondent. Additionally, your responses will be combined with other parents from DuJardin School and summarized in a school report to further protect your anonymity. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and you have the right to discontinue participation at any point.
If you have more than one (1) child, you may elect to participate multiple times.
The 5Essentials Parent Survey is now open. Parents are encouraged to complete this survey. Please use the following link to access the parent survey: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/

Announcing a new Theatre Group - The Mackenzie Project
Theatre has always been a place of inclusion: a safe place that welcomes anyone who wants to perform, play, build, design, direct and hang out and make friends. What we are doing with the Mackenzie Project is inviting students in grades 3 -12, with special needs and without, who are interested in working together to put on a show at the end of the year. The performance will feature students with special needs in the starring roles and be the leaders of crews, while being supported by student peer mentors. For more details go to:
