Edgewood's 2019 Summer Reading
A Round Up of Resources for Your Reading Pleasure
Blast Off to Reading!
Happy Summer Edgewood Family and Friends!
This year's summer reading theme in libraries across the country is A Universe of Stories! On July 20th, 2019, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.
As you are enjoying your summer break on a beach, in a park, at the pool, or in the comfort of your own home, please use these resources to help stay connected to reading.
Connect to Biblionasium This Summer!
Biblionasium is a great resource for summer reading! 3rd-5th grade students have access to their student Biblionasium accounts on the Edgewood Library Webpage. Students must be logged into their school Google accounts at home first before trying to sign-in to Biblionasium! They can log books they have read, add to their book shelves, checkout their classmates shelves for recommendations, and write book reviews!
Have Access to Free e-Books All Summer!
Students will have access to thousands of e-books all summer long! These books are perfect for kindergarten through sixth grade. This subscription database is only being offered through August 31st, so take advantage of it!
