Summer SLICE's

Looking for a Summer SLICE of tech? In My Learning Plan check out the following workshops:

August 10, 9 - 3, "Flattening Classrooms, Engaging Students"

We will explore a seven-step approach to transforming teaching using current pedagogies, technology tools, and global collaboration to create authentic learning experiences that are: standards-aligned, technology rich, online, collaborative, cross-cultural, engaging for 21st century students. This workshop is based on the work of Julie Lindsay and Vicki Davis, and is open to any member of the D103 faculty. There will be a 1-hour break for lunch.

August 16, 9 - 12, "Every Voice is Heard: Leveraging Tech to Create Engaging Learning Experiences"

In this workshop we will combine pedagogical strategies, content knowledge and web platforms to create engaging and individualized learning experiences. We will utilize the TPACK framework and explore online tools that allow you to develop interactive lessons that include embedded formative assessments.
