OCTOBER IS MICHIGAN'S LIBRARY APPRECIATION MONTH!

Beginning Monday, October 12th, all GRAPHIC NOVELS will have a one week check out. This means students will be able to read the graphic novels in our collection! We are now sending students individual SCHOOLOGY messages once their HOLD books are ready!

NRMS EMOTIONAL HEALTH SCREENER

To help identify students in need of additional support services, all Rockford Public Schools are giving a universal emotional health screener to all DK-12 students.

Please see the following letter for more information and scheduled dates for North Rockford Middle School students. Should you have any questions regarding the Emotional Health Survey, please contact the school counselors or our Mental Health Liaison.

2020/2021 CANNONSBURG SKI CLUB CARDS

Need a safe way to get your kids outside this winter? Get a punch pass for Cannonsburg ski and snowboard area! Cannonsburg has lots of space to socially distance, and you can save up to 50% on lift tickets. Contact Rachel Kibbe if you have any questions. rkibbe@rockfordschools.org

A FEW REMINDERS:

  • 3rd party food items are not allowed in the building. For example, Starbucks, Biggby, Jimmy Johns.....cannot be dropped off or carried into the building. Water bottles, that can be refilled, are allowed.
  • Child wellness screening needs to be completed, BEFORE the start of the school day.
  • Please remind your child that if they are not feeling well to let their teacher know and will then be excused to go to the Main Office Health Room. Mrs. Bargwell, NRMS Health Paraprofessional, will call parents. Students should not be calling or texting parents from their cell phones.
