LRMS: Week at a Glance

November 16-20, 2015

American Education Week is Flying . . .

Hard to believe we are almost through the week -- but I did want to share a few items for the week . . so here we go!!!

News You Can Use

Read Here . . and Be "In the Know"

1) Kudos, Celebrations, and Good News:

The first 5 "I Read It" folks from last week's email were Frances Pavon, JesseLynn Lawson, Wes Johnson, Jordyn Lavoie, and Alma Garcia -- congrats -- and see Wendy Tait for your special treat!

From Terri Gentry: KUDOS to Marie Flint for honoring Radloff's Veterans with treats last week.

From Lauralie Connell: KUDOS to Alma Garcia for all of her support while Lauralie was out .. SHE ROCKS!! And to Ms. Montgomery for holding it down (a job well done) in ISS while Lauralie was out!

If you have ANYONE to "BE THANKFUL FOR" -- please send to Sarah via email (with the subject: "THANKFUL FOR . . .") by the close of the day on Thursday, November 19 --- she plans to recognize all of these folks on Friday!!!

2) Thanksgiving "dinner" is being served at Lunch on Wednesday!

Every faculty member can just get their Thanksgiving lunch for FREE on Wednesday -- just remember this is another tiny way to say "THANKS" for being an amazing educator!!!! Just know how THANKFUL Radloff is to have you as a member of the faculty!

3) FAB School LAB Voting will be all day on Thursday, November 19.

All voting is via Facebook -- so please go onto the Radloff Facebook Page and share it (and the call for voting) with all of YOUR Facebook friends! We are the only school in GCPS and the only one in the state of Georgia up for this award -- -we need EVERYONE's vote of support to bring home the big prize!! Please follow the schedule Michael Ladd sent, so that everyone can vote. Each student will have to log in individually in order to vote! THANKS for your help with this!!

4) Grits are Thursday morning this week -- and Friday, November 20, is a Faculty Meeting at 8:00 -- please be on time to grab your breakfast and then, sit with your teams!

5) Radloff is on Facebook!

Join/Follow the Radloff Facebook page -- the name of our official page is "Radloff Middle School" -- this is a "corporate" page, which means no one can see YOUR information once you follow the Radloff page -- it is a more private type page, and it is monitored daily -- but this is a great way to help spread the good news about happenings at our school and with our kids!!

6) School is Closed Next Week!

Like I need to tell you . . next week is a HOLIDAY!! Please remember to take home your laptops over the break along with anything of significant value to you. The building will be closed all next week --- so enjoy the time away!!!
