Quarter 1 Celebrations
Last year we conducted a trial run of a "club hour" and it was quite successful. The staff and students really enjoyed the different club opportunities. Our purpose of having club hour was to allow teachers to share a passion of theirs with students and for students to have an opportunity to share their talents and build relationships outside of their homeroom and typical peer interactions. Allowing these types of opportunities, helps with the social and emotional development of our students.
This year we plan to have a club hour celebration at the end of each of the first three quarters. We will begin by coming together as a campus to share student accomplishments and then transition into clubs. The clubs last year included: STEM activities, art projects, board games, creative writing, yoga, cheer leading, chemistry, card making, soccer, sign language, and many more. Be watching! We will post pictures after this event takes place on October 31st. I'm not sure who will be more excited, our teachers or our kids!
DreamBox Math Program
To Access DreamBox on a Browser Your student can access DreamBox Learning from any computer, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you need is a high-speed Internet connection. If you’re using a browser, use this link: https://play.dreambox.com/login/fqg7/3jfz
To Access DreamBox on an iPad To download the DreamBox Learning Math app, go to https://www.dreambox.com/ipad, or search for "DreamBox Learning Math" in the App Store. Click Setup Parent Access at the bottom of the page. 4. Follow the instructions provided to create a new login and password. 5. Read Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. 6. Click "Submit".
Log into your home account after setup: 1. Go to https://play.dreambox.com 2. Enter your email address and password. 3. To see student progress, click the "Family Dashboard" button. If you have any questions, please contact DreamBox Support by calling them at 877-451-7845 (weekdays 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Time), or emailing support@dreambox.com.
NOTE: The DreamBox Support team is unable to provide your child’s login information and password for security reasons. Please reach out to your child’s teacher directly for their DreamBox login information if your student has trouble using the login and password information that they use for all other programs.

Bullying Report Form
We had our 2nd Safety & Security Committee meeting this week, and had great feedback from students, staff, parents and community members. It was brought to our attention that a lot of our new students aren’t aware there is a ANONYMOUS way to report bullying by visiting our website www.forneyisd.net and clicking the Student icon, then it is listed in the alpha directory. As always, bullying can always be brought directly to the attention of our teachers or staff. This is just a way that it can be reported and addressed anonymously.
