Pop in and Plan!
Don't forget about this great opportunity to plan with me at your convenience! The sign up sheet is located in my room (119). Let's plan some engaging, rigorous, and data driven lessons!
Do You Analyze Your Data?
No really, do you?
BCPS has provided many resources to aid in digging deep into your unit assessments and standards. How often do you look at standards and questions through assessments reports? Did you know you can compare your assessments through Assessment Reports? Check your folders through Schoology groups to find forms to navigate you into error patterns, misconceptions, standards, and instructional practices.
Please see me to discuss these resources! :-)
Anticipatory Sets in Your Favor!
We often want students to eliminate distracting answer choice during classwork and assessments. Anticipatory sets are located in your curriculum folders under resources. Anticipatory sets are great engagement lessons/activities to set the tone for your lesson and teach a great strategy! See me to locate Anticipatory sets or lets plan to use them during our Pop In and Plan! When you see this sentence place a sticker on my hand to be entered into the next raffle!
New Schoology Features!
- Schoology Assignment Apps - I've done this in most classrooms and also have worksheets in my room
- Schoology Course Assessments - new question types - great for exit tickets
- Highlight Image feature- upload images for students to draw on - image drawing is recorded for teachers to see the thought process
