RES Staff Update
October 22-26, 2018
No Staff Meeting on Monday
A heads up about a few things:
- Bingo Night is Friday, November 2 @ Goodson. If you are interested in calling a game (there are 10), please let me know.
- Spring Creek Spirit Night is November 7. The money raised from this goes straight to our school. Please consider creating a friendly competition that will encourage the students to show up. In the past, we've had the top 2 classes on a grade level get to play kickball. Motivating the students is the key to getting the kids to come out. Sally will be sending out information on volunteering to serve rolls. We want to be sure to allow spots for all grade levels, so please be considerate when signing up. There are about 15-18 slots.
- We will have Friendsgiving again. On Monday, November 12, everyone will enjoy a true Thanksgiving buffet. Turkey, gravy and rolls will be provided. The sides and desserts will be where the "friends" come in. A sign-up will be sent out to everyone to participate where they choose.
- The PBIS committee is meeting this week. Once we've finalized the details of our first school store, I will send out information about how this will work. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we implement this new idea.
Book Character Parade & Staff Trick-or-Treating
However, the A-team is having "trick or treating" for all of you throughout the day. We'll have snacks in each of our offices. You will start in my office where you'll receive snacks and participate in a fun Halloween game that will give your team the chance to win prizes. Your team may show up at one of the following times:
9:30
9:45
10:35
11:05
12:05
1:10
2:05
3:00
Please let us know if your team needs to come at a different time. By having these set times, our staff that are not assigned to a grade level are able to choose a time when others are coming.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!
