We are excited......

to present to you the first edition of the our monthly newsletter! This monthly edition should provide you with some amazing resources and clue you in on things that you might not know about! Each month different teacher librarians in the district will create this newsletter. This month's news comes from Kathy Rolfes at Mann and Margaret Janavicius the long term substitute at Lincoln.   • 10/15 Global Handwashing Day Stress the importance of handwashing for global health.
  • 10/23 Diwali (India - festival of lights)
  • CONFERENCE HALF DAYS OCT 23, 24
  • 10/28 Statue of Liberty was dedicated on this day in 1886 (we have LOTS of resources about this event in our libraries)
  • 10/31 Halloween or All Saints Eve!
