Raider Nation in Raider Valley
Message from Bob Carnaroli
Raider Nation,
As you can see from the newsletter, Raider Nation is thriving across the board. It's exciting to be part of all the excellence and witness our students perform and compete. None of this is possible without the dedication and support of our staff, students, and most of all the families. Hard work and doing the right things consistently eventually pay off for those willing to keep at it. That is and has been a NFHS "trademark". There are so many life lessons learned from being part of a team, group, and working individually at being your very best. I am so proud of my staff for guiding our wonderful students in following their passions and pursuits to their fullest potential.
My best thoughts and wishes to all our Raider Families as we head into Thanksgiving Break.

Senior Dues: All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. Pricing will be $145 until December 31st, 2022. On January 1st, dues will increase to $170 to incur a late fee. Dues cover the cost of the graduation cap/gown, diploma/diploma cover, senior breakfast, senior picnic, rental of the arena, and other special treats. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 26th.
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on SUNDAY, May 21st at 2pm at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: For the first time in a long time, we will be collecting senior letters for the Class of 2023. We will start collecting these letters in January 2023 through April 2023. We will send out more concrete information soon, but wanted to give families a heads up that we will be offering this special opportunity this year for parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and former teachers to write to their seniors. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year. Stay tuned for more details soon!
If you have any questions, please reach out to one of the senior sponsors.

Students were given 1 ea 3x5 index card and 6” of tape to stack the most books starting ¼” off the floor. Students learn that balance is extremely important with this challenge. The product tells the students where all the weight was before the books fell. 83 books was the top score using books 1.5 lbs - 3.5 lbs.
