We A.R.E. Robinson! 9.11.20
To the RNR Families,
It's been another wonderful week of teaching. Students have risen to the challenges of today, and with your help they are navigating the curriculum. Teachers are continuing to refine and find ways to modify content and the learning management systems to best accommodate for learning. To our F2F students and parents, it has been wonderful seeing them in the building, and to our RCL students and parents we hope that you read through our message earlier this week, if not - here it is again:
Dear RCL Parents,
In the effort to improve all aspects of our online program, KCS teachers have been developing courses in Canvas over the last several months. We are now ready to start integrating Canvas courses into our online programs. While a few subject areas will be moving over to Canvas when their unit changes within a natural progression of their curriculum, most will move at the end of the nine weeks. This change also will allow most students to receive instruction from KCS teachers. We have also been working on the honors math curriculum. We hope this will be ready to deliver starting the second 9 weeks. Thank you for your understanding. Our teachers have been working long hours to make instruction in a virtual setting better for our students.

Yearbooks & Planners
Due to health & safety concerns, we will not be able to sign yearbooks at school at this time. Please discourage your child from bringing them to school.
Planners will be handed out next week for F2F learners. We encourage you to check your child's planner to see what they are writing down.
Couple of Reminders -
- Check Canvas and OW Parent Portal for Specific Grade Info (Aspen will be updated with Averages weekly) (The Aspen portal will be available later in the fall.)
-Please check to make sure your students are completing their assignments. If you have any questions about their progress, please email or call their teacher.
-Tardy Bell Rings at 7:45. Please make sure your students are here by 7:45. Beginning next week, students will go to their advisory class if they arrive at or after 7:30.
-Rolling backpacks are allowed since we do not have lockers. Students will need to carry their backpack up the stairs. If you have special medical considerations, please reach out to our nurse or administration.
