No School Monday - Memorial Day

Girls Golf Tryouts

Girls Golf Tryouts for the 2021 school year will begin on August 9. Practice will be at the Country Club of Lexington and will begin at 4 p.m. Ladies must be in the 7th-12th grade and must have a physical after April 1, 2021. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Joanna Taylor! She represented LTC DECA in the final round of the international competition and received recognition for her role plays and testing. She placed in the top 10% receiving two medals and a certificate recognition. Joanna also served as the LTC DECA President this 2020-21 school year.

Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony

Order your FREE take-home meals!

Lexington County School District One Office of Food Service and Nutrition is offering 3 breakfast meals and 3 lunch meals to be taken home on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 9. The no cost meals will cover Thursday, June 10, Friday, June 11, and Monday, June 14 leading up to the first Summer Food Meal Service on Thursday, June 17.
In order for your child to receive the take home meals, please complete this form by no later than Monday, June 7 at 6 p.m.

Yearbooks

Yearbooks can still be picked up or purchased during Empower and 4th Block in F110. If you want to purchase a yearbook they are $105. Please bring cash or check payable to LHS.

News from the Health Room!

Thank you for allowing the school nurses to meet your children’s health needs this year. The end of the school year is almost here and we are planning to close the health room for summer.

We are unable to store medications in the healthroom during the summer. Parents or students must pick up the medications by June 7, 2021. All medications left in the health room after June 7, 2021 will be disposed of according to our District Policy. If you have any questions about medications in the healthroom, please contact the school nurses.

Summer Job

Lexington Medical Center's Nutrition Services Student Program is created for current high school students desiring hands-on work experience in the field of customer service and foodservice. Lexington Medical Center is looking for students that have a deep commitment and passion for delivering great customer service to our patients, their families, and LMC employees.

The position is paying $14 per hour.

Way to go Wildcat Band Members

On Saturday, Katie Sightler and Joanna Taylor were two of twelve participants from across the entire state in the South Carolina Band Directors Association Masters Recital. They both played fantastically and were amazing ambassadors of the Cat Band and LHS. Katie tied for 2nd place and won a $250 scholarship while Joanna tied for 4th. We are beyond proud of these two amazing wildcats!!!
