I would like to thank you all for your support and cooperation as we welcomed students back last week for orientation. It was wonderful to connect with our students both in-person and remotely. I think it's important for us to all remember that we are all learning during this time of new protocols and ways of doing things, so it will be helpful if we practice patience and flexibility. We know there were a few technology issues this week and the faculty and I have been working to troubleshoot those issues to allow for a smooth transition as we begin our first full week of school tomorrow.
I want to thank our faculty and staff for the tremendous work they have done, especially as they continue to build their competencies with regard to teaching in-person classes while also balancing the needs of those students who are joining our classes remotely. Likewise, I would like to thank our students for the excellent job they have done with adhering to the many safety protocols we have implemented during the school day. The teachers and I have been truly impressed with their resilience and positive attitudes.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone of the responsibility we all have to keep our community safe. We ask you to please be cautious in the decisions you make for your family outside of school so that we can continue to gather in person for school.
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and we look forward to seeing the students tomorrow.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Devin Fitzpatrick as our new physical education teacher. Mr. Fitzpatrick has been assigned to us by YoungWorld, a company that provides physical education instruction to many of our Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. YoungWorld has supplied Mr. Fitzpatrick with a comprehensive program of activities to allow students to participate in physical education class while adhering to appropriate social distancing guidelines.
This year Physical Education classes will be held on Mondays and Fridays. Physical Education classes are as follows...
Mondays: Grades 4-8 (* for this week only Grade 4 will have Phys Ed on Friday instead)
Friday: PreKA, PreKB, Kindergarten, Grades 1-3
