NAU MAI HAERE MAI

Hello, Kia ora, Chomreabsour, Mālo ni, Ni hao, Kia orāna, Talofa lava, Namaste, Hola, Hallo, Chào bạn, Bula Vinaka, Kumusta, Guten Tag, Mālō e lelei , An-nyeong-ha-se-yo, greetings to all our School Families.

From the Principal’s Desk

Kia ora Tātou

Here we are at week 9 and what a busy one it has been! This week we have had students represent us at The Tough Guy and Gal (Mud Run) and were also delighted to send 4 teams to the Rippa Rugby Finals in Paeroa on Wednesday. As Acting Principal, I could not be prouder of the effort and attitude that all of our students put into these events, not forgetting the army of Teachers, Parents and Coaches that help to make these events happen.

We have one week of Term 2 to go and I am sure that it will go fast. We have been heavily hit, in the last month, with the many bugs and infections that are flying around the community. We look forward to seeing as many of our students here, as are able to make it everyday. Thank you to all of you for your communication with Kim in the office, as this makes her job so much easier when she hears from you when students are away.

You have just your students, we have a whole school to check on.

Thanks again and have a great weekend!

Tough Guy and Gal 2022

Very early on Tuesday morning, 53 of our students left school and bundled into the cars of very special parents (not everyone wants a load of dirty muddy kids on the way home!) for yet another Fabulous Tough Guy and Girl challenge in Ngaruawahia. The students had an amazing time with their peers and many other similar age kids from around the Waikato! This is a wonderful experience and they all love to get dirty and muddy while making their way around the various obstacles at the Ngaruawahia Youth Christian Camp. I even heard some complaining that there was not enough mud!!

A huge thank you to those wonderful parents/caregivers and the lovely Mrs Valencia and Mrs Findlay who provided transport and went the extra mile for our students on this cold winters day. .
