Dress Menu!

Good morning! As we move into the winter and temperatures are cold, please be sure that outerwear is within dress code. Any coats or jackets that are not in dress code will have to be taken off in class and stored in a locker or cubby. If a student wants to wear the jacket in class, then they must be in dress code. The guidelines from the ROISD Standardized Dress Menu are below:

  • Outer coats/jackets may be any color but must be removed upon entering the building.
  • Sweaters, vests, zip and pullover hoodies, and sweatshirts are permitted only in standardized dress policy colors. They may be worn in the building but may not extend below the bottom of the back pocket.
  • Red Oak logos and Red Oak artwork are allowed on zip-up and pullover hoodies.
  • Labels are permitted on coats, jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts but must be no larger than 1½ inches by 1½ inches.
  • Jackets must have a closing mechanism (full-length zipper, buttons, or snaps).

Morning Start Time

School starts at 7:25. Please be sure that you are allowing time for drop off in the morning. If a student is not in line by 7:25, then they will need to be dropped off in the front as they are tardy. If your student needs breakfast, then they need to be at school by 7:20 to allow time to eat.

Birthday Treats

All snacks and treats sent to school for student birthdays or celebrations must be prepackaged and individually wrapped. Thank you for understanding!

Front Walkers

If your child walks to school from the front side of the building, please encourage them to enter the front of the building. As a safety concern, we would rather students enter through the closest entry point, rather than walking to the back of the building. Thank you for your understanding.
