Our donations wish list was completed within a few hours of it being shared! Thank you so much for your generosity. If you were hoping to donate but didn't get to it in time, don't worry!! We will have 3 more parties this year and will request donations for each one!
π Scholastic Book Orders - Due October 25!
Our first book order is open! If you'd like to order books for your kiddos at a discounted price, the best place to order is Scholastic.
Book orders are completely optional. I usually do one in October, one right after Thanksgiving (so you can order holiday gifts if you'd like), and one in April.
Place an order of $25 or more and you can pick a FREE $5 book (use code READS at checkout)

I will send home paper flyers next week as well, but all orders must be made online!
π€ This Week's Learning
π Reading: We learned how to identify story elements and how to retell stories by using the story elements.
βοΈ Writing: We learned about different text and illustration features, and how to add those features to our writing!
π’ Math: We learned about reading and writing numbers to 1000 by looking closely at place value.
π¬ Science: We finished our force and motion unit this week by completing a racing cars activity and slingshot ball activity. Next week we will begin our social studies unit - United in Culture.
πSecond Step Lesson - Try At Home!
In this weekβs lesson, your child learned that we can feel proud when we accomplish something difficult or when we do something nice for others.
Try This at Home:
Ask your child to tell you about a time they felt proud. Tell them about a time you felt proud of something you accomplished or of doing something nice for others.
