Report Cards Available on R-Kids

Report cards for kindergarten through twelfth-grade students are currently available to view on R-KIDS. You can access R-Kids by clicking on this LINK. As a reminder, report cards are only available on R-Kids and are no longer being printed. If you are having trouble accessing your R-Kids account, please contact your student’s school for assistance.

Spring Break is Coming Soon!

We hope all our staff, students, and families enjoy the upcoming Spring Break. There will be No School Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th. The first day back from Spring Break will be Monday, April 10th. There will be No RPS Weekly Message on Thursday, April 6th.

After Spring Break - Meadows Elementary Transition to Westside Community Center

This is a reminder to all Meadows Elementary families, STARTING ON TUESDAY, APRIL 11TH, and remaining through the end of the 2022-2023 school year, classes will be held at the Westside Community Center (3534 S 108th St.) due to the interior renovations taking place at Meadows Elementary.


A transportation plan has been put together for families who requested transportation to and from the Westside Community Center. Click HERE to view the details of the transportation plan.

Get Signed Up! Ralston High School Athletic Camps!

Ram Nation, did you know Ralston High School offers a variety of athletic camps, workout sessions, and lessons just for you throughout the spring and summer? These are great opportunities for your future Ram to learn a sport, improve their skills, meet other athletes and coaches, and have fun!

Elementary Volleyball Intramural Showcase

The Ralston Public Schools Elementary Intramural Volleyball Showcase will be Thursday, March 30th, at Ralston High School. Starting at 3:30 pm and lasting until 5:00 pm, students from across the District will compete against each other and show off what they have learned in the past six weeks.

School-specific details will be communicated by the intramural coaches at each building.

District Annual Report

Each year, Ralston Public Schools publishes an Annual Report for the community. This printed publication provides statistics and information from the 2022 school year. The District mails the publication to every Ralston resident and District family. An electronic copy is available on our website.

The Annual Report should be hitting homes within the next week. For your convenience, here is a LINK to the 2022 RPS Annual Report.

Save the Date: RPS 5th & 6th Grade Track and Field Day

Parents of Ralston Public Schools fifth and sixth-grade students, mark your calendars for Thursday, May 11, 2023. Cheer on your students and their friends as they participate in the annual 5th and 6th Grade Track and Field Day.


This all-day event will start with field events at 8:45 am and running events at 9:30 am at

D.E. Speck Nelson Stadium at Ralston High School. Students will compete against other students from schools from across the District. Concessions will be open for parents and guests.


Let's fill the stadium and make this a day these students will remember forever!

April Date for RHS Food Pantry

Mark your calendars! Ralston High School will host its monthly food distribution on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. This event is in partnership with the Food Bank of the Heartland.


Families can start to line up in the Ralston High School main parking lot at 4:00 pm. The food distribution starts at 5:00 pm and concludes at 6:00 pm. The address for Ralston High School is 8969 Park Drive.


Ralston High School volunteers will direct individuals on where to park and help with the food distribution.

There is no better time to nominate an RPS employee for a Ram Power Award! Each month, the Ram Power Award is presented to three RPS professionals who go above and beyond for students, the community, or their fellow staff members.

Every RPS employee is eligible to receive this award. The Ram Power Award is sponsored by BCDM Architects and Weitz Construction.

Each week in Ram Recognition, Ralston Public Schools will highlight some good news happening across the District.

Lots of Recognition for our RHS Yearbook Staff

Ram Nation, we have some very talented students at Ralston High School. Students on the Yearbook staff have been receiving a lot of recognition for all of their hard work. The students represented RHS well in the Nebraska Journalism Education Association Winter Contest. Congratulations to the following students highlighted in the images below!


The Journalism Staff just received the results of the Nebraska Press Women Contest. The contest looks at a publication a year after being published. The RHS entries are all from the 2022 yearbook.

• Nina Kudlacz received first-place and will move on to nationals in yearbook copywriting. She was also awarded an honorable mention for yearbook layout.

• Kailey Walsh received second place in yearbook design.

• Talayeh Williams was awarded an honorable mention in yearbook copywriting.

• Zoie Bartek received an honorable mention for yearbook layout.

Way to go Rams!

RHS DECA Student Qualifies for National Competition

Help us congratulate Ralston High School student Wilson Overfield on placing sixth overall in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing category at the state DECA competition. He qualified and will be attending the National DECA Competition/Career Development Conference in Orlando April 22-25.

Congratulations to Wilson and all our Ram DECA students!

February Ram Power Award Recipients

Congratulations to Ralston High School educator Ms. Sarah Hall, Karen Western Elementary educator Mrs. Gina Yowell, and Meadows Elementary educator Mrs. Katie Watson on receiving the February Ram Power Awards.

These awards were presented at each of their buildings. Staff who submitted nominations were there with Dr. Adler to help present the awards to each recipient.

Ralston Schools Foundation Awards Teacher Grants

The Ralston Schools Foundation announced its 2023 Spring Teacher Grant recipients this week. The Foundation awarded seven teacher grants for a total of $5,162.16. The grants span several schools and grade levels. RPS educators can apply for a classroom grant that will have an impact on students, tie into the RPS strategic plan, and/or support equity and collaboration.

A group of community members from the Foundation review all of the applications and select the winners. Please help us congratulate the following teachers on receiving their grants! Thank you Ralston Schools Foundation for your support of our staff and students!

Grant Title: A Reading-Ready Classroom

Creating comfortable reading areas for students to read, have discussions, focus, and decrease anxiety.
