Who Moved My Cheese

Please watch the video below based on the book Who Moved My Cheese. I think a lot of these principles can apply to us. You will probably have to skip the advertisement. Enjoy!

Quick Reminders:

Just a few friendly reminders as we start the new year:

1.) Please refrain from using your cell phone during class time or while supervising students.

2.) IA's need to be used to work with students when in your room. Please try to limit them from making copies, grading, filing paperwork.....etc.

3.) The lunch room is a time for students to relax. We push them hard all day. I'm ok with them talking during lunch as long as they aren't screaming and yelling.

4.) If you have a student who brings in birthday treats and wants to give them to other teachers please have them bring the treats to the office and we'll let the teacher know. We are trying to limit classroom disruptions as well as know where students are.

5.) MOST importantly "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better it's not." ~Dr. Seuss~

Committees For 2017-2018 School Year

Please follow the link provided below to sign-up for committees. let me know if I'm missing any. There are colored tabs at the bottom of the google doc where you can toggle between committees.

From Michele Thiele: NWEA

I have completed your NWEA upload. Teachers should have access to all of their classes by tomorrow if not today. Please have them double check their class lists to make sure that I have everyone or if their is someone that is not in their class.

Remind teachers that anytime a student leaves the school or is new they need to let me know so that I can put their information in for NWEA.

Thank you

After School Library Club

We had 86 students sign-up for our once a month library club put on by the Noble County Public Library. Kelly Parks and I decided that rather than turn kids away we would split into two rooms K-2 and 3-5. Kelly and Cindy Schlemmer will take the lead. We are looking for volunteers to help even if it is one time, if you or you know someone reliable would like to help let me know asap! This is a great experience for our kiddos!
