Instructional Focus: Guided Reading
Guided Reading Walkthrough
Wednesday Sept. 30, 2015 (Sophie and Ms. Hoggard)
Because we are facing the challenge of meeting the diverse reading needs of students, this resourse has identified the essential components of an effective guided reading lesson: targeted assessments, data analysis that pinpoint specific strategies students need, and the use of guided writing to support the reading process.
Expectation: I am expecting to see small reading groupings and guided reading instruction during your portions of your ELA and Intervention Block.
