Nottingham Elementary: Annual Event
March 30, 2017
Our special night is almost here!
Writers' Night celebrates student growth. Our Knights' hard work is on display as they proudly share their pieces. Guests and parent/guardians tour classrooms partaking in a gallery walk, highlighting a digital portfolio review, and personalized learning. Our community gleefully anticipates this night every spring.
This year’s theme is, The Power of Words, inspired by Conceptual artist, Barbara Kruger. In conceptual art, the idea or concept is the most important part. She marries smart word choice with clever pictures to make a big impact. Art teachers, Ms. Zoller and Ms. Corke will present The Power of Words digital slide show to further illustrate Fifth grade student creativity and the connection between visual and language arts.
