Watch D.O.G.S. Kickoff Event

Greetings Fathers and Father-figures,

On Thursday, September 12th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm we will host a ‘Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night at our school. We will meet in the school cafeteria at 6:00 pm for FREE pizza and fun. At 6:30 pm we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) Program. WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears on our campus.

Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out with your child(ren) and learn about this great opportunity to make an impact at TCES. We hope to see you there!

In order to participate, you need to do three things:

1. Let us know if you will attend with your student(s) by completing the Watch DOGS Online R.S.V.P. Form so we’ll have an accurate headcount for our pizza order.

2. Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you September 12th at 6:00.

3. Purchase a Watch D.O.G.S. Uniform Shirt at the event for $20 if you wish to volunteer as a Watch DOG. Credit/debit payment preferred, cash/check accepted.

Sincerely,

Kristen Motte

School Counselor & Watch DOGS Program Coordinator

WHO ARE WE?!? Launch of our new Vision, Mission, and Core Values

Prior to the start of the school year, Mrs. Wagner, Mrs. Lucas & Mr. Hartley revealed their vision for Tega Cay Elementary School. Using this as a foundation, our titan staff worked diligently to map out the path we would take towards continued excellence as a school community. Brainstorming in a variety of groups, we had deep discussions to identify where we are as a school and where we want to be in the future. Based on their efforts, they were able to reflect and come to a consensus on Tega Cay Elementary School’s new mission and core beliefs.
