News for September 7, 2023
RAHS Families -
We are three days in and hope the routine within your home has started to feel more normal! We are establishing the building culture and had class meetings today to review our RAHS expectations. You can find those slides linked below!
Here are important updates from RAHS:
Late start will continue every Wednesday with class beginning at 9 - students arriving before 8:45 a.m. will be expected to go to one of three locations inside RAHS: auditorium, cafeteria, and the upper gym
While we do not have an assigned School Resource Officer at RAHS we do have Officer Warsame from the Roseville Police Department who is here frequently and supporting us at arrival and during lunches. We will continue to partner with the Roseville PD as needs arise. Rest assured that our student support and behavior team are readily available to assist students and families as needed
Last year we had over 44,000 tardies - the most frequent class students were late for was 1st period - PLEASE HELP GET YOUR STUDENT TO SCHOOL ON TIME
We are working diligently during arrival and dismissal - thank you for your patience. Please see the maps below to better understand the expectations for when you drop off and/or pick up your students.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions / concerns. Linked below is important contact information including who your students’ administrator, counselor, and behavior support team includes

Hello from the Career & College Center! Our mission is to help students explore and prepare for whatever path they decide after graduating from RAHS. We want students to know all of the options available to them so they can make a post-secondary choice that excites them. Here is a little snapshot of who we are and what areas we specialize in:
Brynn McConnell, Career Navigator | I do a lot of work with career exploration, interest and aptitude inventories, employment opportunities, job shadows, guest speakers, field trips to area employers, and helping students get a jump start on their career through employment, internships, and earning industry-recognized credentials and certificates. I’m especially passionate about careers that do not require a 4-year college degree.
Jessica Hammond, College Coordinator | I provide support and resources for students who are planning to attend college. I coordinate college representative visits and fairs, assist students in exploring colleges and navigating the college application process, educate students on financial aid, manage our scholarship program, and help students prepare for college entrance exams.
The Career & College Center (room C170) is located just outside of the Commons (by the beautiful new mural!); we love visitors and helping our students plan for life after RAHS!
You can also contact us via email for any questions related to post-graduation planning!
