Word of the Week: frantic
The girl was frantic because she had lost her keys and needed to get to her appointment.
The artworks of Erin Lee and Kennedy Kilgore were recently chosen to represent Bethany in the district-wide celebration of Youth Art Month. Youth Art Month is a national observance, throughout March, which recognizes the importance of Visual and Performing Arts in the education of young people. Erin and Kennedy will have their artwork exhibited from February 5th through March 22nd at PISD’s Sockwell Center in West Plano. The two young artists will also be honored at an artist’s reception with a presentation of certificates on the evening of March 22nd. Please let these fantastic fifth-grade artists know you are proud of them!
Reading Logs Due Soon
MARCH 4TH is also the deadline for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to turn in their Bluebonnet Book Reading Logs if they have read 10 or more Bluebonnet books. Those students will be invited to Ms. Murff's Bluebonnet Breakfast in April. (Optional reading program)
