Uranus is named after the greek sky deity, Ouranos. Uranus is the only planet whose name is from Greek mytholgy. The other planet names are from Roman mytholgy.

-Uranus is a blue - green color. It has a hydrogen helium atmosphere. It is the seventh planet from the sun.
How Uranus is tilted
Uranus is tilted sideways on its orbital plane. Its north and south poles are where other planets have their equators.

Who found Uranus
Uranus was the first planet discovered with a telescope. It is very dim and has a slow orbit. It was discovered March 13 1781, by William Herschel.
Size of Uranus
Uranus is about 14 1/2 times the size of earth. Its diameter is a bit bigger than Neptune's and four times Earth's. It is the second least dense planet after Saturn. Radius - 15,759 miles (25,362 km).
