Morning Music Selection of the Week at HES!
Antonio Vivaldi wrote four pieces of music that described the four seasons - spring, summer, autumn, and winter. He used four poems about the seasons to help him write the music.
The poem for Autumn, which is our music for this week, tells us about people working in the fields harvesting the grain, fruit, and vegetables that had been growing during the summer.
After all of the produce had been harvested, the workers had a big celebration.
The music is written for just one section of the orchestra - the string section.
The question this week is:
What are the names of the four string instruments?
Correct answers will get 2 bubbles/water drops.
Please give your answer to Mr. Roberts by Wednesday 20.
HESpotlight...welcome to our new staff members at HES!
Nicole Camp - School Psychologist

Jackie Cleary - Third Grade Classroom Teacher
I am a born and raised, proud Chatham local. I graduated Chatham High School in 2003 and after I completed my internship in a preschool classroom at Chatham Elementary School, my passion for wanting to be a teacher grew strong, and off to Keene State College in New Hampshire I went to pursue a career in Education. I graduated with two Bachelor's degrees, one in Education and one in General Science. I earned my master's degree in Elementary Education through American International College and I look forward to going back to school for my next certification. I LOVE SCIENCE, especially geology. I began my teaching career at Harwich Middle School in 6th grade teaching Science and English and then onto Monomoy Middle School when we rationalized. I taught 4th grade at Chatham Elementary School for two years and this year I will be teaching 3rd grade at Harwich Elementary School. Making the shift in grade levels has given me the opportunity to grow as an educator, be flexible, and acquire many tools to be a successful teacher. I consider myself very lucky to be a Monomoy teacher and I can't wait to someday send my children to Monomoy.
I enjoy spending time all over the Cape with my husband, my family, and my 3 year old daughter Charlee.
