FROM THE PRINCIPAL

LEES Families,

The students did an amazing job practicing our second lockdown drill for the school year! The third, and final, lockdown drill will be held in January.

Just a reminder that there will be a PTO meeting on Tuesday, September 21, beginning at 5:30 PM. Come see how you can help the PTO support the students and staff this year!

There will be another chaperone training session before the PTO meeting at 5:15 PM on September 21, in the gym, for those who were not able to attend previous sessions.

Students and staff are invited to participate in our first Spirit Day by dressing alike with someone for Twin Day on Thursday, September 23. Our Linville Leaders have suggested one Spirit Dress Day a month for the 2021-2022 school year!

RCPS is looking for bus drivers! The next bus driver training will be held November 15-17. For more information, please contact the bus garage at 540-433-2458.

I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!

Mrs. Ridder

To apply, please complete the online meal application at www.myschoolapps.com, or fill out the attached application and return to your child's school or mail to: Food and Nutrition Services, 1210 N.
