The Cell Phone

Cellphones 2001-2014

Cell phones have evolved since 2001, both in design and function. There are thousands of models of cell phones that have hit the market between 2001 and now.

2004 -Motorola Razor V3

Because of its appearance, it was initially marketed as a fashion phone. The phone had the thinnest profile at the time. The phone had a cool metal design, dual color displays, a VGA camera, long-range Bluetooth, MPEG4 video clip playback, and Java 2.0 with 3D graphics. It had five MB of storage.

2005-Nokia 6680

One of the first 3G phones was the Nokia 6680. In 2005 this phone was considered to be "the iphone" of today. This phone included many different and cool features including, bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel fixed-focus camera, front VGA (0.3-megapixel) video call camera, hot swappable Dual Voltage Reduced Size MMC (DV-RS-MMC) memory expansion card support, stereo audio playback and a 2.1", 176x208, 18-bit (262,144) color display with automatic brightness control. Fun fact, the device was nicknamed milly. This phone started a path to creating more 3g phones which would take over the market later.

Iphones take over!

The Iphone has evolved much more and still is popular today in 2014
