UW Shelter Medicine Spring 2015 Course

The University of Wisconsin Shelter Medicine Spring 2015 Course begins today! The community is invited to join in this series of free lectures on topics related to animal shelters, animal health, and community programs to help save lives for homeless animals. Lectures will be held at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, and will be broadcasted live on Thursdays from 12-1pm (CST). All lectures are open to shelters and the public. The first class will be held on January 15th, when Dr. Sandra Newbury will present an introduction to shelter medicine and an overview of the course.

Wisconsin CVT Licensing Poll

We have only received 67 responses so far! This poll will close January 17th, 2015. A veterinary technology degree is not required in order to be eligible to become a CVT in WI. This law is being currently being reviewed, share your opinion!
