Pre-K Classes Get Guest Readers, Books
On Dec. 13, central office employees, board members and Superintendent Dr. Curtis Jones Jr. visited Pre-K classes across the District. Jayla Whitfield from WGXA also visited a classroom with Dr. Jones. These guests read "Snowmen at Night" by Carolyn Buehner to the students, led activities and gave each student a copy of the book to keep.
"Now that you've read this book with Dr. Jones, we want you to take it home and read it with your families," elementary coordinator Olena Floore told the students at Carter Elementary.
With Christmas Break beginning, we'd like to encourage students of all ages to make reading a part of your plans!
