Staff Newsletter - Week of 11/26/18
Welcome Back! I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving Break. I know that it was filled with family fun and lots of food! Now it is time for us to get back into the gym so that we can work off all of the food we ate for the past week. :-)
We have a very busy few weeks before the Holiday Break. It is important that we stay focused and tightly monitor the students. Below are some reminders to make sure that we are providing appropriate supervision.
- Work with your grade level to make sure that the halls are monitored in the morning and afternoon.
- Walk the students to the buses. DO NOT send classes down the hall to the bus without adult supervision. All other adults are on duty so they can't monitor the halls.
- Remember that bell to bell teaching is important to keep the students focused, on task, and minimize disruptions.
Have a great week of learning!
Generals Salute!

Secret Santa, 12/12-18 - If you would like to participate, forms can be found in the mailroom. Please return completed forms to Deanna by December 10. The meeting to select your Secret Santa will be held on 12/11, 8:00 in the Media Center.
Holiday Luncheon
Holiday Luncheon for parents and students – 2 dates: November 28 and 29
- You will receive a schedule that indicates what day your students will eat in the lunchroom. This is the day that the students can invite their families to join them for lunch. Your lunch times will not change. We will split the grade level so that 1/2 eats in the lunchroom one day and the other 1/2 eats in the lunchroom on the second day.
- Please be sure to work with your colleagues to accommodate parents who may have scheduling conflicts. If you need assistance, please see an AP.
- On the day your class is not attending the Holiday Luncheon, the cafeteria staff will deliver lunches to your classrooms.
- Reminder – NO jeans during the Holiday Luncheon
SHOUT OUTS!
