What a busy week of school it has been in fifth grade! It's hard to imagine that next week at this time we'll be two days into summer break! In Religion, students studied different saints and brainstormed ways we can use these saints as models for our lives each day. In Science, students analyzed and identified different rocks. Needless to say--it ROCKED! In Social Studies, student groups were assigned a decade to research. Students studied different music, artist, fashions, inventions, architecture, historical events and people from each decade and will present their findings next week in iMovie. In Math, students created Edu-reation videos to supplement next year's lessons! We know the rising fifth graders will love watching productions from the future sixth graders. In Language Arts, students wrapped up their myth study and presented their myth picture books to their classmates. If these myths confirmed one thing, it's that our students have serious creative writing skills! The fifth grade teachers could not be more proud of the students progress this year! They have included photos below to remember some of our favorite times!
