Shout Outs
- Congratulations to P. Martin who recently earned National Board Certification.
- Hospitality Committee for organizing and planning Thursday's holiday staff party. A great time filled with laughter for those in attendance.
- Kindergarten teachers and students who visited the Lowman Home Friday to spread holiday cheer to the residents there.
Leaders are Readers
Former Fox Cub Alaina Coates will visit DFES Tuesday to read to a group of first graders. Alaina went on to basketball stardom for the DFHS Silver Foxes, The University of SC, and is playing professionally for the WNBA franchise Atlanta Dream.
District Leadership Team Meetings
Thursday, December 17th is designated for district leadership team meetings. Our school basded leadership/school improvement team will meet in room 6. Mr. Gantt will meet with data team facilitator's in cafeteria.
PTO board meeting Wednesday December 18 at 6:00 p.m in the conference room.
Data teams to meet Thursday, December 19th during planning.
Cultural Sensitivity
The following presentation is on Cultural Sensitivity from ESOL teacher Katherine Cain.
