NPHS PFA Parent Talk Series
Healthy is the New Skinny (HNS) is dedicated to teaching girls about the harmful effects of media manipulation and offers a healthier, alternative perspective. HNS aims to
change the game of body image and challenge beauty “norms.” It serves as a platform that promotes a healthy and body positive lifestyle through the education and
empowerment of girls and women around the world. The talk will be tomorrow Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00 PM in the NPHS PAC. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.

December Updates at Barge-Lincoln!
December has sure come in with gusto, as the weather has really been interesting! We've already had two snow storms, resulting in late starts. As a friendly reminder, be sure your phone numbers are updated with our office, as this is how the school and district will notify families of emergency events. If you need to update your number, please stop by our office from 8:15-4pm Monday through Fridays. We want to keep you informed on happenings at Barge-Lincoln.
As a friendly reminder, when we have a delayed start to school, the school doors open at 10:15am, with breakfast served from the opening until 10:40am. Lunch will occur at the same time. If students arrive before 10:15am, there is no supervision and families will be called to come and pick up your student.
Did you know that our students, teachers, and parents are a team! Thank you for being your child's first and most important teacher. We will work with you to ensure we provide a learning environment that is positive, safe, and fun-loving. Our learners have a bright future and a supportive school that will ensure we are reaching and teaching every student, every day!
PARENTS---Don't forget! Your student(s) need to come to school dressed for the cold and wintery weather. Winter jackets, gloves, and hats are encouraged from now until the weather begins to warm up in March. If you need assistance getting a winter jacket for yourself or your students, please let our office know. We are happy to ensure your family is warm! We are a blessed school community and have received multiple donations of winter clothing. Please ask us and we can help you!
Barge-Lincoln reinforces our three standards for learning and we'd love your assistance with reinforcing these at home, as well:
- Show Respect
- Make Good Decisions
- Solve problems
