WSD United Way Campaign

2016 United Way Campaign #WSDcares

Last week, the Wentzville School District kicked off its annual United Way Campaign, and we’re counting on your support!

Gifts to the United Way fund over 170 high-quality health and human service agencies serving more than one million people on both sides of the Mississippi, and last year 107 WSD employees generously donated over $12,400! The United Way does what no other organization can: it brings us together as one community to sustain strong families, safe neighborhoods and healthy children.

This year we will again be using the “ePledge” system to make it easy for you to donate.
When you receive your campaign email, just click on the link to open your page on ePledge. Once on the site, click on the 'Pledge Now' button on the top of your screen and follow the easy steps to enter your pledge. Please note that the link is unique to you, so do not forward the email to anyone else.

The WSD is in the business of helping children, and so is the United Way! More than half of the agencies United Way funds have some type of programs or services that serve children and youth. These services could include childcare, education, adoption, abuse prevention, mentoring, counseling, scouting or recreation.

Through United Way, when you reach out to one, you’re helping us all. Please consider making your pledge today.

For the 2016-2017 school year, we would like for staff to share their Lollipop Moments. Not sure what a Lollipop Moment is watch the quick video below! Often one of us does something to impact another staff member. Unfortunately, we don't always share the impact. We'd like to change that this year.
