2021-22 Distance Learning Application
In accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) guidance, District 204 will provide distance learning for students who have a medical condition or live with a person with a medical condition that is compromised due to COVID19.
A student may qualify for distance learning under the following circumstances:

To assist in our planning for next year, we are asking parents/guardians requesting distance learning for their student(s) to complete the form below by June 4, 2021. Forms should be returned to 204distancelearning@ipsd.org.
End of Year Material Returns
Classroom teachers will be sharing a list of materials that need to be returned to school in the coming weeks. Please review this list for learning supplies that need to be returned.
Remote students will return their learning materials, including chromebooks and cords, on Monday, June 7th during the morning. This drop off will be by grade level so that students will have the opportunity to see their classroom teachers. Please reserve the following times:
Kindergarten 8:15-8:35
1st Grade 8:35-8:55
2nd Grade 8:55-9:15
3rd Grade 9:15-9:35
4th Grade 9:35-9:55
5th Grade 9:55-10:15
Students and one parent will be asked to park their car in the lot or circle drive and enter the gym through Door #5. Once inside the gym, students can find their teacher to return classroom materials as well as the LMC table to return chromebooks, cords, and library books.

Parent Connect Program
Being a new family to a new school can be overwhelming! With so much information to learn, whether it’s the drop off/pick-up car line or navigating through extra-curricular activities, sometimes it helps to have another parent to connect with.
Please let us know if you are available to connect with a new family joining the Kendall Community. Please also consider if you are fluent in another language so that we can partner you with a family who speaks that language. You will have access to a handbook containing items to review with the family.
Sno Problems Shaved Ice Trailer
Let’s celebrate the last day of school with some shaved ice! The truck will be located in the Hunt Club cul-de-sac of Whispering Lakes subdivision on Friday, June 4th, from 3-5 p.m. Please RSVP on our Facebook page (Kendall Elementary PTA) to give them a general idea of how many people will attend. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
