Command Economy
A command or planned economy occurs when the government holds control over all major aspects of the economy and economic production. In a command economy, it is the government that decides what to produce, how to produce goods and how to distribute goods and services within the economy. Command economies were often associated with the political system of Communism. The command economy is a key feature of any communist society. China, Cuba, North Korea and the former Soviet Union are examples of countries that have command economies.
Why ?
It does not allow monopolizing.
boosts industrial power.
adjusts production rates and availability of completed goods.
allows for better mobilization of resources.
streamlines the society and government.
prioritizes social welfare.
offers easy response to emergencies and internal disasters.
Some people say that the leaders of a command economy have to much power. Saying what ,how,and who to give or sell to. some even say that they have to much control over businesses . But look at it this way, the government knows whats best is best : and it looks like a little less work for you.
