Diverse Abilities Week

Diverse Abilities Day is Friday, January 14th but we will be celebrating the differences that make us one big happy Pink family all week long! Leading up to Diverse Abilities Day, we invite students to dress according to the following themes:

Monday- Warm Up to New Friends (No one should walk alone)! Wear cozy and warm sweats to school!

Tuesday- Sparkle and Shine like the STAR you are! You are awesome just the way you are! Wear sparkly and/or bright colors!

Wednesday- Our differences make things so much FUN! Wear your grade level field trip shirt!

Thursday- Walk in someone else shoes! Think about different perspectives and others feelings. Wear mismatched shoes (sneakers for PE).

Friday- We are a part of one BIG Family! We are Pink proud! Wear your favorite Pink spirit shirt!

FISD Hoverboard Annoucement

We wanted to inform you that Frisco ISD will not be allowing Hoverboards on Frisco ISD property. Documented fires have occurred in the use of these devices while charging, as well as during use. Other organizations have also banned their use/presence due to fire risk, including many airlines. If students bring a Hoverboard to campus, the parent will be contacted to pick up the device, as it cannot remain on campus due to the possible risk. This includes all makes and models of Hoverboards. As always, the safety of students and staff is our top priority.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Telling is Not Tattling: Reporting Bullying

Part of being a safe school at Pink Elementary involves providing a way for students and parents to report when someone has witnessed bullying. There are a few ways to report bullying. Each classroom has yellow forms students can fill out and give to their teacher or turn in to the office. There is also a link on Mrs. Andrew’s website that goes to a confidential form that will be monitored and investigated. You can always email your child’s teacher if you know of a problem happening at school. Thank you for working with our staff to make Pink a safe place to be!

Student Super Star

We want to celebrate your child's accomplishment outside of school with you! So, we are starting something new this year to do just that. You can share your child's accomplishment with us by completing the form by clicking on the box below and we will highlight your child on our school morning broadcast. We are proud of our Pink students and we want to celebrate them as often as we can! Please follow all guidelines outlined on the form for submission.
