Weekly Update 1/29/16

Ms. Rhodes' Technology

Ms. Rhodes broke out a new program, EdPuzzle, with her colleagues during planning this week. Good job sharing your findings Ms. Rhodes!

To Do's

Don't sweat it, but here is a list of some mundane stuff coming up ...

  • Report cards and all related info. will be distributed during homeroom on Tuesday.
  • SLO and PAS-T goals conferences should be finished; however, some rescheduling may need to take place. Check with your admin. evaluator.
  • Remember to update rosters and information in your sub folder.
  • Weekly Lesson Plans should be posted on your website each week by Monday at noon (if you're new and setting up your website, please send them to your grade level administrator)
  • A reminder: The building closes at 7:00 throughout the week.
  • Don't forget to sign in, every morning, to Hall Pass.

Mentor Mondays, still accepting recommendations!

The Admin. team will continue Mentor Mondays, starting again on Monday, January 25th. We will also be employing a new tool, the Greenville County Schools Early Warning Response System which uses consolidated data from PowerSchool, IMS, attendance reports, and Enrich, to examine a students level of risk for school failure based on three factors: Attendance, Grades, and Behavior. We will begin referencing this tool to help us intervene with the most at-risk students, and beginning soon we will ask for your participation in conferences to develop an intervention plan for each of these students.
