The Ravens' Nest
Randolph Early College High School Newsletter
Week of August 30, 2021
Please turn in your first day forms to Mrs. Scott immediately. We must update our records.
In the mornings, upon student arrival, students will need to stay in the courtyard until 8:50 am. Of course, if it is raining, students will need to go directly to their 1st period classrooms. During lunch, students will be eating in their 2nd period classes.
Please note, the Armadillo Cafe will continue to serve breakfast and lunch. Southmont Elementary will continue to serve lunch. We are simply changing logistics, not lunch options.
Fan Cloth 9th Grade Fundraiser
Get your RECHS Raven gear and support the 9th grade! This fundraiser runs from Monday, August 23, 2021 to September 7, 2021.
Students received catalogs in their 1st block that offers a glimpse at 24 of the 39 items available on our online shop. Orders will ship directly to the students approximately 2-3 weeks after the shop closes on September 7, 2021.
Seniors: Meningitis Records
Two doses of meningococcal conjugate vaccine are required for North Carolina students. One dose is required for individuals entering the seventh grade or by 12 years of age. The second booster dose is required for individuals entering the 12th grade or by 17 years of age, whichever comes first. Please turn in your shot record to the school office as soon as possible. The deadline is September 6, 2021. If you have questions regarding this new requirement, please feel free to contact our school nurse, Monica Hurley.
Please be mindful that we are guests on RCC's campus. We need to clean up after ourselves in the cafe and outside areas. Please be aware of this after breakfast and lunch times.
Also, please make sure that you communicate with your high school teachers for attendance purposes.
