Parking
We encourage families and graduates to carpool as the parking spaces are limited at Sandals Church Hunter Park. There will be parking attendants directing cars as you arrive to help things run as smoothly as possible. We ask for your patience as we do our best to accommodate everyone. It is also a good idea to allow for plenty of time not only to park, but for potential walk time should you end up having to park farther out.
Seating
Seating is first to come, first serve and it is going to be a full house! The good news is, there is not a bad seat! Please arrive early and be mindful of other guests in attendance when taking your seats. We will be asking guests to fill the rows from the middle out to accommodate all in attendance. We will have ushers there to help and ask that you be flexible as we aim to make this event an enjoyable one for all!
Suggested Dress
5th and 8th grade students are encouraged to wear what they feel comfortable in. This ceremony is a special occasion! At previous graduations, students have worn pants with button up shirts, blouses, dresses, and/or skirts.
12th grade students are encouraged to wear pants with button up shirts, blouses, dresses, and/or skirts underneath their cap and gown.
Student Bio Card
The Student Bio Card is a half sheet of paper that the student fills out and the announcer reads what they wrote as the student crosses the stage. Please fill out your card and bring it the day of the ceremony to make your check-in go quicker. If you forget it we will have extra copies available. Click on your grade below:
Professional Photographer
We will have two professional photographers at our event to capture the special moments of the day. GradImages will mail, text and/or email each student attendee photo proofs following the ceremony, along with the opportunity to select from a variety of photo packages, with no obligation to purchase. Each 5th, 8th, and 12th grader who participates in the ceremony will receive one free digital image download of their photograph of choice. No flash photography allowed during the ceremony.
Photo Booth
We will also have a photo booth area to take pictures with your graduates and family members. We will provide the props, you provide the smiling faces and cell phones!
Candy Leis
The Corona EA Booster Club will be selling candy leis for anyone to purchase on site for $3.00. These will be CASH ONLY sales, so don't forget to stop by the ATM. No credit or debit cards will be accepted.
Senior Cap & Gown
If you are borrowing your cap and gown, please make sure your student gets there 30 minutes ahead to be handed their loaner cap & gown and get dressed.
If you purchased a cap and gown please make sure you bring it to the graduation.
Diplomas and Certificates
Your official promotion certificate or diploma will be mailed to the address on file after the last day of school.
House Rules
Here are a few things to note about our venue:
- There will be parking attendants helping with parking. Please be sure to follow their direction.
- Absolutely no confetti or airhorns allowed in the building.
- No food or drink allowed in the sanctuary.
- We ask you to make every effort to be on time, as not to disrupt the ceremony.
